My name is Jawhara Fawzi AlSerkal.  Born and raised in the United Arab Emirates.   I always wanted to be a Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon but the world works in mysterious ways and I ended up graduating with a Bachelors in Business Administration - Financial Services.

I have been reading books for as long as I can remember.  I'm not talking about "Goosebumps" or "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series .. I'm talking about "Tell me your dreams" and "The Stars Shine Down" by Sidney Sheldon, the "Flowers in the Attic" book series by Virginia Andrews, and "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice.

 

Books were my portal to escape reality and it still is.

I started writing prose a couple of years ago but never got the courage to show them to anyone.  So, I let my best friend read some of the things I have written and she encouraged me to launch a website and start posting my writings.  I thank her for the vote of confidence and I love her for believing in me.

There are a lot of things that spark my writings.  But my "muse" is love, passion, lust and loss.  My best friend told me "you love LOVE" and that is SO true.
